"I have been using Versa Gripps for the last year. I was a gymnast for 15 years and had weak forearms and wrists. Versa Gripps have made a huge impact in my training, as well as strengthening my muscle groups. Thank you so much for such a great product!" -  Renee Porter

My name is Renee Porter. I am originally from Wisconsin, but have lived in Los Angeles for the last 3 years. My mother started my athletic background at the age of 3. That was when I swam my first lap, wearing my Miss Little Piggy swimsuit. Since the age of 7, I competed in swimming, track and gymnastics. Sports and athletics has always played a huge role in my life. I loved the feeling of being strong, powerful and disciplined at a young age.

I received a full ride swimming scholarship in college and was pushed to the next level. After college, however, I felt lost. My swimming career was over and it was time for me to be challenged in a different way. I competed in triathlons, took up ski- diving, and snowboarding until I came across the wonderful world of bodybuilding.

Bodybuilding is the perfect athletic sport for myself. I need discipline and structure in my life. Swimming caused me to have a tremendous appetite for calories and especially carbohydrates. As swimmers, we would consume anything and everything under the sun. And that was ok at the time, because we were swimming sometimes 5 hours per day and we would burn it off.

I now compete as an IFBB Figure Pro. As a Figure Competitor, comes a structured program with nutrition and exercise. I love the idea of being challenged with workouts and diet in order to have a balanced, symmetrical, muscular, yet feminine physique.

I am also a fitness model and personal trainer. If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. I truly believe that! I love motivating and inspiring my clients to lead better, healthier and happier lives. Making an impact in someone's life is where the true passion plays a role.
