Dumbbell rows are an excellent exercise to work the latissimus dorsi, back, shoulders, and arms. How to Perform a Dumbbell Single Arm Row with Versa Gripps
It is extremely important to make sure you use proper form when performing dumbbell rows to prevent injury. Do not lift more weight than your body can handle. When performing this exercise, it can be beneficial to use a bench or similar platform to lean on to support your body.

  1. Put your left leg on the bench and grab the end of the bench with your left hand. Bend over so that your body is parallel to the bench. Reach down and lift the dumbbell with your right hand, keeping your back straight and your arm extended.
  2. Lift the dumbbell to your chest—focus on using your back and shoulder muscles.
  3. Lower the dumbbell slowly to return to the starting position and repeat the exercise.

After performing the exercise with your right hand, you can then switch and perform the exercise with your left hand.
